Hello!

My name is Brooklyn Hendrickson, I am a Colorado native, and I love to play hockey! I have been playing hockey for over 7 years and have loved every second of it. I play for the Rocky Mountain Lady RoughRiders and have had the honor of being a team captain the past 3 years.

I go to school in Boulder, Colorado and will graduate in 2021. I enjoy volunteering with Student Council and Restorative Justice at New Vista High School. My Culminating Project (senior project) is interning with the Boulder Police Department's Youth Explorer Program and doing cross athletic training. I am interested in studying psychology and criminal justice after high school.

Hockey is a passion of mine and I hope to continue to grow as a player and a person through college. Playing hockey has helped me develop critical skills including dedication, stress managament and perseverance. As a team captain I have been able to solve issues within the team and develop cohesiveness on the bench. I respect my fellow teammates, coaches, and referees. I am driven to be my best at every moment and always bring a positive attitude. While being successful in college is my top priority, continuing to play hockey will give me a sense of community, a sense of accomplishment, and a space to grow.
